When it comes to inflatable stand up paddle boards, no brand is as popular right now as Tower Paddle Boards. In fact, their Tower Adventurer and Tower Adventurer 2 inflatable SUPs are always on the top of the best sellers list. And since the Adventurer 2 is new for 2015, you might be wondering what the difference is between the two.
Comparing The Tower Adventurer SUPs
Well, we’ve checked out both boards and given them each a thorough review in order to be able to tell you how they compare to each other. Here’s our conclusions.
After comparison shopping, it is clear that the Tower Adventurer 2 has a price similar to the Adventurer. The prices for each fluctuate from one day to the next, but they are normally not that much different. (note: prices can change at any time)

The Tower Adventurer 2 is about six inches longer than the Tower Adventurer.
The Tower Adventurer 2 has a pointed nose, which gives you better performance and control in waves.
The Tower Adventurer 2 has three handles on the nose, tail, and center of board for carrying whereas the Adventurer has a single handle in the center of the board.
The Tower Adventurer 2 comes with a bungee cord for securing your gear on the board that you don’t get with the regular Tower Adventurer.
Bottom line: these two boards have a lot in common and either one makes a great choice in a new iSUP for your paddling. For most people, I think that the regular Tower Adventurer is the best choice because it is often cheaper and has almost identical features.
However, if you intend to use your iSUP for surfing or if you are a taller paddle boarder or someone who takes a picnic or other gear out on your board, then the longer Tower Adventurer 2 is the better choice for you.
